You may cancel any RANKHOSTZONE service at any time. Cancellations take effect either immediately or at the end of the current billing cycle, depending on the cancellation type you choose. There are no early termination fees.
To cancel a service, please follow these steps:
Cancellations submitted via email or chat are not accepted — all cancellations must be submitted through the client area to ensure proper processing.
Only cancellation requests with a valid reason are eligible for cancellation processing and any applicable refund. The following are considered valid reasons for cancellation:
The following are NOT considered valid reasons and may result in cancellation denial or forfeit of refund:
RANKHOSTZONE reserves the right to reject cancellation requests that do not include a valid reason and to request additional information before processing.
Immediate Cancellation: The service is terminated immediately upon approval. You lose access to all service resources, files, and databases immediately. No refund is issued for unused time unless within the 15-day money-back guarantee period (and the purchase was not made using a coupon or promo code).
End of Billing Period Cancellation: The service remains active until the end of the current billing cycle and is then terminated. This is the recommended option for most customers.
Services purchased using any coupon code, promo code, discount code, or promotional offer are NOT eligible for the 15-day money-back guarantee. Cancellation of such services will not result in a refund. The service will be terminated either immediately or at the end of the billing period, but no monetary refund will be processed.
By using a coupon or promo code at checkout, you acknowledged and agreed at the time of purchase that the order is final and non-refundable.
Upon service cancellation, all hosting data — including website files, databases, email accounts, and backups — is retained for 7 days after the cancellation effective date, then permanently deleted. It is your sole responsibility to back up all data before the cancellation takes effect. We cannot recover data after it has been deleted.
Domain name registrations are separate from hosting services and are not automatically cancelled when you cancel hosting. Domains must be managed independently. If you wish to cancel a domain, you must do so separately through the client area. Domains will continue to auto-renew unless renewal is disabled.
Cancellation requests will not be processed if there are outstanding unpaid invoices on the account. All pending balances must be settled before a cancellation request can be approved. Accounts with unpaid invoices may be suspended rather than cancelled.
Once your cancellation request is processed, you will receive a confirmation email to the address on file. Please retain this email for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, contact our support team immediately.
Cancelled services may be reactivated within 7 days of the cancellation effective date, subject to resource availability and payment of a reactivation fee. After 7 days, all data is permanently deleted and reactivation is not possible. A new account and fresh setup would be required.
Cancellation of a reseller hosting account will also terminate all sub-accounts created under that reseller. It is the reseller's responsibility to notify their clients and migrate their data before cancelling the reseller account. RANKHOSTZONE is not liable for data loss caused by cancellation of reseller accounts.
